For over 60 years, Oxford Milkway Transport Co-Op has been a trusted provider of bulk milk transportation services across Southwestern Ontario. Headquartered in Woodstock, with additional locations in Mitchell, Elmira, Millbank, and Walton, we operate within Ontario's regulated dairy system under the oversight of Dairy Farmers of Ontario (DFO), ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and service.

The Role
As a Fleet Mechanic, you’ll play a key role, working out of our Mitchell shop, maintaining our fleet and depot equipment to ensure safe, cost-effective, and compliant operations. This hands-on position focuses on repairs, preventative maintenance, and collaborating with our operations team to keep our equipment running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- •Perform maintenance and repairs on trucks, specifically highway tractors and trailers, and milk pumps.
- •Ensure compliance with Ministry of Transportation (MTO) regulations.
- •Follow safety policies, shop procedures, and company guidelines, including participating in a rotating weekend on-call schedule and provide after hours service, as needed.
Qualifications
- •Certified Truck & Coach Technician (310T).
- •AZ Driver’s License preferred, but not required.
- •Experience with milk pumps, stainless tanks, and trailers an asset, but not necessary.
- •Proficiency in computer systems for work order management.
- •Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- •Personal tools in good condition (annual tool allowance provided).
